I booked this months in advance and it was a long time to wait. But the wait was worth it!! This tour is totally original and worth it, especially if youre a Hollywood buff. Just pulling up outside all the places and hearing the stories told by our guide Brian was sensational. Goosebumps everytime. Just being at the places and picturing what happened is a feeling you must experience. Our guide was Brian. He was awesome fun and his knowledge of events is unbelievable. A great bloke. I even blew him away with my ridiculous knowledge of film!! Anyway, it was a great experience and I would love to go again!!

We loved this entire experience. The greatest gift of the trip was our driver and "entertainer" leader who was so informed and entertaining for all of us. This was an excellent value because of him. A very memorable experience and one we will probably take again with other family members.

This was the highlight of our LA trip. The tour was informative & the guide very entertaining. We went on other tours too & this was BY FAR the best in terms of coverage & value for money. Would highly recommend it.

VERY INFORMATIVE AND THE OUR TOUR GUIDE KNEW A GREAT DEAL ABOUT LOS ANGELES. I LEARNED MORE AND SAW MORE ON HIS TOUR THAN THE TOUR OF THE MOVIE STARS HOME WITH ANOTHER VENDER.

This was the best tour that I have ever experienced. The guide was fantastic, he was friendly and funny and shared his vast knowledge of Hollywood with us. If you only have time to do one tour then it should be this one.

Morbid, funny, enlightening, incredible, and engaging all at once. To borrow from Fitzgerald and Hemingway in summarizing what I learned on this tour: "The Hollywood elite are different than you and me." "Yes, they are more f..ked up." Brian was a great teacher.

I had a family member visiting from the East Coast and wanted to do something "fun and different". Dearly Departed Tours sounded perfect. having taken other tours eminating from Hollywood I have to say that this is definitely the "one to beat". Our tour guide, Brian, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and informative in his delivery of the intriguing information at each location along with other interesting anecdotes along the way. I liked the fact that the van was small making it seem friendly and personal.
having missed the tour the day before, I called and left a message to reschedule. I was very impressed that the owner, Scott, called me back and left me a message about rescheduling. It was like taking a history tour of Hollywood with a lot more interesting information. I loved it and cant wait to take other tours this company does. I have already recommended it to a lot of people as a "must do" when having out of town guests or for a fun time with friends if your local. I loved ending up perusing the great bookstore where we started the tour. Its loaded with Hollywood history. All in all it was terrific and would do it again!
