We had a very good guide. he was interesting all the time. The guides are are very professional. However, I was a bit confused that the Movie Tour guide in fact asked us for tips. She was definitely worth $10 which I gave her, but I want it to be my choice. Would recommend both tours.

We had a group of ten that had traveled to Los Angeles from the East Coast for the first time. While our main purpose of the trip was to attend my son's wedding, we also wanted to see as much of the area and sights as we could. The trolley and Mini bus tour allowed us to see a great number of attractions in a relatively short time. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and also dropped back there in a very timely fashion. Both our trolley bus driver and Mini bus driver were extremely pleasant, informative, and funny. I would highly recommend this tour combination to any first time traveler to LA wanting an overview of the sights you have seen in pictures, on TV or read about.

the ride started late and the driver/tour guide seemed to rush through the ride since there were only 4 of us.
It is redundant of the double decker bus tour.
