It was better than I expected. I was afraid that we would not be allowed off the bus to actually get up close to things. I have taken tours like that, and you cant even get a good picture like that. Guide was also very nice and informative.

We loved the LA city tour - our tour guide was very knowledgeablet! It was a great way to get introduced to everything in the city. I would not recommend the Hollywood tour (that we added after the LA tour) to friends. We didnt really see anything.

If you only have one day in Hollywood/LA area, this is definitely the way to go. We saw so much more on the tour than we could have done on our own. Our tour guide Rob made the tour very interesting and the many stops were great. I would highly recommend this tour. Definitely worth the money.
