On the web site it stated we would see the Hollywood Bowl, Sunset Strip, and then off to see the stars. Well we did not see Hollywood Bowl, we did not drive down Sunset Strip and did not see any stars houses. Also we did not get to VISIT Rodeo drive but just drove down it. The driver and Universal were good but you should not advertise stuff that they driver does not do.

Picked up at 8am, tour started at 10:30, promised 4 and a half hour tour before going to Universal as the park closed at 5 pm. The 6 hours as advertised was cut to 3 and a bit which didn't leave much time to do every thing. Walked back to our hotel to give us more time.

I booked the Universal Studios Hollywood with Los Angeles City Tour Combo (Bus), but was dropped straight to Universal Studios with no L.A. City Tour.
Universal studios was fantastic and the drivers of the buses were great. The issue was that I did not get the L.A. City part of the tour.

We toured Los Angeles and only spent 30 mins. at Universal Studios Hollywood and this was a big disappointment.

The tour was fabulous, the guide couldn't have been better. However, on the way to and from the tour we had a different driver than we did for the actual tour. We had a problem with this driver on the way home. We were staying at the Travelodge LAX and apparently there is also a Travelodge LAX South. For some reason the driver thought we were supposed to be dropped off at the Travelodge LAX South and drove there and asked us to leave the bus. We informed him this was not our hotel. He got very irate and made me get out of my seat and go up to the front of the bus to read what his sheet said. When I told him regardless of what his sheet said we were not getting off the bus in LA at night at the wrong hotel, he decided to drive us to our proper hotel. As he drove there he made sure his driving reflected how annoyed he was with us. He was driving extremely fast and darting through traffic dangerously. About 3 min before arriving at our hotel his demeanor completely changed and he suddenly became pleasant. We 100% believe that he was only looking for a tip as we got off the bus. Not wanting to sink to his level we did leave politely and tip him as we left. We were quite disappointed with your company as he drove away. Aside from him, everything else was fine.

Editor's Comments:
We apologize for your experience. We have relayed your comments to our tour partner for their review and evaluation.
Despite confirming the day before, the bus meeting us at our hotel didn't turn up. After phoning we were picked up and caught up with the tour after the first stop. After that poor start the rest of the day was great. A good introduction to LA and reasonable length of time at Universal.

The city tour was good (driver Sonny) BUT getting dropped off at Universal at 2.30 and thinking ok we have 4hrs to do it in turns out to be WRONG in so many ways ,ALL the rides and shows finish at 4.10 so you have 1hr 40 min to get it all in which is asolutley impossible .We were told to do the studio tour first as this is the longest which we did and after this was finished we 10 minuets left before the rides SHUT a situation that I and EVERY ONE ELSE THAT WAS ON MY COACH found tottally unaceptable we ALL felt we have been ripped off ,you must know the times of the park so why you advertise the trip as a afternoon at the park is beyond me and everyother person that I spoke to.Then to finish off a lousy afternoon we did not get picked up till 6.30 on a cold dark night .this time is obvously used to give the imperession that you have longer in the park than is availible which by the way shuts at 5pm .I speak for everyone that was present that day when I say we will NOT recomend this trip to anyone that is coming to LA this year and we come from 7 different countries !! and I bet this review never sees the light of day!!!!

They did not go to all the places that were mentioned in the tour. They started very late and tried to rush the tour. Bad experience.

While I liked the driver and enjoyed him personally, I didn't enjoy the tour nearly as much. Venice beach was a sham; a complete waste of time. When your tour mentions the stars homes, tourists don't expect to drive past an apartment building and be told who lives in it. As a patron, I expected to go through a neighborhood and actually see the homes of maybe Brad Pitt, or Elizabeth Taylor. Instead we learn where Tyra Banks lives, or used to. As for Rodeo Drive, well, that was almost a waste, too, but not quite. We should have been allowed to get out and look around. We were allowed to get out at the Kodak theatre, but we only given like 20 minutes to look around. Are you kidding me? 20 minutes? Last but not least, I hate that we were only allowed about 4.5 hours at Universal studios. That was totally inadequate. If the park had been full that day, my wife and I wouldn't have seen what little we did see. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the Universal tram tour, but I highly recommend you eliminate Universal from your tour as tourists need much more than 4.5 hours to enjoy the theme park.
