Description
San Diego Zoo Featured Exhibits Ituri Forest: Enter a lush African rainforest, complete with rushing waterfalls and exotic plants. Ituri Forest is the most complex, multi-species habitat ever developed at the San Diego Zoo, including sights, scents, sounds and information about the Mbuti people who live in this dense, tropical environment.
Gorilla Tropics: Covering 2.5 acres, Gorilla Tropics transports you to the sights and sounds of Africa, surrounded by thousands of native plants and enhanced by audio of actual environmental sounds of an African rainforest. Observe the gorillas and their complex social group.
Polar Bear Plunge: This exhibit of more than 2 acres brings the Arctic tundra south, with Siberian reindeer, Pallas' cats, northern birds and native plants along with polar bears. The focal point of the exhibit is the Plunge: 130,000 gallons of water-cooled to 58 degrees Fahrenheit. An underwater viewing room lets you see how agile and playful polar bears really are.
Panda Central: Welcome to everything panda at the San Diego Zoo, from the amazing live Panda Cam to panda facts. See the pandas frolic in their simulated habitat.
Children's Zoo: Don't let the name fool you. Our Children's Zoo is for everyone to enjoy! But there are lots of special animal exhibits and activities designed with our younger visitors in mind like the popular Petting Paddock, two animal nurseries and animals not found anywhere else on the Zoo grounds. The Children's Zoo also has a variety of gardens that are both educational and functional.

I found the VIP service extremely efficient and punctual from pickup to drop off. The driver was very pleasant, and extremely precise with his instructions and information regarding the tour highlights, pickup points, times etc. Would recommend VIP tours to others contemplating visiting LA.

pickup point arranged was along way from hotel we were staying at and there was a closer pickup then the one we were allocated, earlier pickup would have been better,didnt have enough time to see the entire park before the return service in the evening. price was very reasonable.

I enjoyed my zoo trip. The ride was interesting, with beautiful views. The trip was on time. My only suggestion is to leave earlier to have more time at the zoo. It is a big place and takes more than 4 hours to see. We arrived at noon and were picked up at 5 o'clock.

The bus arrived to pick us up on time from the airport, but we ended up having to drive to Anaheim and wait for an hour before another bus came to get us. We did not leave Anaheim until after 10 am. Although the guy giving tour information at the hotel in Anaheim was very rude, our bus driver that took us to San Diego was very nice. Overall, I don't think that I will be booking another tour through your website again.

The journey time I was quoted was unrealistic and grossly under-estimated. The trip from our hotel to the LAX bus pick up point took over an hour (after waiting an hour outside the hotel to be picked up.) The driver also did not mind using a lot of colourful language and excessive horn beebing. Once we changed buses we had another 3 hours of travelling. The journey home also took a good 3.5/4 hours. We spent more time on transport than in the zoo. The zoo itself was nice but not worth all the travelling. Had I been told the realistic journey time I wouldnt have booked this trip as a day trip.
